主讲人简介：
Dr.Chen is the William A. Black Chair in Commerce, a Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at the Rowe School of Business, Dalhousie University. She received her Ph.D. in Management Sciences from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario. Her research interests include competitive channel and supply chain management, interface between operations management and marketing, and customer returns. She has published over 80 papers in journals, such asJournal of Retailing,European Journal of Operational Research,Decision Sciences,The International Journal of Management Science (OMEGA), Naval Research Logistics, Transportation Research Part E, and others. She is currently serving as an Associate Editor ofThe International Journal of Management Science (OMEGA), Journal of Operational Research Society (JORS), andInternational Transactions in Operational Research (ITOR).She is also severing asa board of directors at the Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences in Canada.
陈静，加拿大Dalhousie University讲席教授(William A. Black Chair in Commerce)，罗威商学院（Rowe School of Business）与工业工程系博士生导师。博士毕业于加拿大Western University毅伟商学院（Ivey School of Business）。主要研究领域为竞争性渠道与供应链管理、运营管理与营销交叉、收益管理。担任管理学国际主流SCI/SSCI期刊《OMEGA-International Journal of Management Science》、《International Transactions in Operational Research》副主编。
近年来，陈静教授在国际管理学权威/主流SCI/SSCI期刊《European Journal of Operational Research》、《Decision Sciences》、《OMEGA-International Journal of Management Science》、《Journal of Retailing》、《International Journal of Production Economics》、《Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review》、《International Journal of Production Research》、《Annals of Operations Research》、《Journal of the Operational Research Society》等共发表论文80余篇。
内容简介:
The digital transformation of the tourism industry has created new requirements for tourism research. In this context，it is common that the graduate (master/PhD) students face the challenge in identifying the research topic, developing the research project, and writing papers for journal publications. This lecture will integrate new technologies, new economies and new industries to help graduate students build their research in the early career, and then enhance the characterization and internationalization of tourism management student development. The experience will be shared with students through the talk in literature review, research topic selections, and paper writing, submission, and revision. A good literature review should be authoritative, representative and timely. Research topics must highlight management scenarios, address the major issues at the level of practical and theoretical values, improve the existing body of knowledge, and breakthrough academic boundaries, complement and echo existing research. Besides, the lecture will discuss various issues that may arise during the submission process and how to respond to queries and requests from journal editors.
旅游业的数字化转型升级对旅游学术研究提出了新的要求，在此背景下，研究生（硕士/博士）普遍面临识别研究问题、推进研究项目和发表期刊论文的挑战。本次讲座将结合新科技、新经济和新业态来帮助研究生构建学术生涯初期的研究，增强旅游管理学科人才培养和学术研究的特色化和国际化。讲座将分享有关文献综述、研究问题确立、论文写作、投稿和修改方面的经验。好的文献述评应具有权威性、代表性、时效性等特征。研究问题需要突出管理情景，要在现实价值和理论价值层面回应重大问题，要完善现有知识体系，要突破学术边界，补充和呼应现有研究。同时讲座还将探讨投稿过程中可能存在的各项问题，以及如何回应期刊编辑的质疑与要求。
